The fully enclosed airbox helps isolate the intake filter from engine heat, allowing cooler air to reach the engine. Built-In Swing Gate

On applicable 2013-2024 Ram Cummins intake systems, the built-in swing gate provides additional airflow capability during demanding conditions such as high temperatures, high altitudes, or heavy loads. At full throttle, the swing gate opens the ram-air duct to allow cooler, less restrictive air into the intake system. The system uses the factory Ram-Air motor to draw air through the wheelwell inlet during normal operation and can provide additional airflow when conditions require it.

Dual Inlet Options

Applicable intake systems can utilize both inlet paths simultaneously to increase available airflow. The secondary inlet can provide additional air when maximum airflow is desired, while the included components allow the airflow configuration to be adjusted based on operating and weather conditions.
