Logistics
Shipping & Dispatch
How long does it take Tuner Depot to ship my order?
Tuner Depot dispatches in-stock physical orders within 2 business days from our British Columbia warehouse. Most North American orders arrive within 2 to 7 business days after dispatch via expedited ground. International orders take 5 to 14 business days depending on destination and customs clearance.
Where does Tuner Depot ship from?
Tuner Depot ships globally from a single warehouse in the Pacific Northwest, British Columbia, Canada. The majority of our orders go to the United States and Canada, but we regularly ship to Australia, the UK, Mexico, and the EU. We do not operate US-side warehouses or third-party drop-ship locations.
Does Tuner Depot ship to the United States?
Yes. Tuner Depot ships across the United States from our British Columbia warehouse, with most US orders arriving within 3 to 6 business days after dispatch. We also offer a Tariff Protection Plan that covers tariff and brokerage cost increases for US-bound shipments so your landed cost stays stable.
Does Tuner Depot charge customs or duties for US delivery?
US-bound orders may incur duties or brokerage fees collected by the carrier on delivery. Tuner Depot's Tariff Protection Plan covers eligible tariff and brokerage cost increases at checkout, so the price you pay at order time is the landed cost.
Tune Calibration
Custom Tuning
How does Tuner Depot's custom tuning service work?
After you order a custom tune, you submit your stock tune file along with your VIN, year/make/model, engine code, transmission, and modifications. Tuner Depot's in-house calibration team builds your custom tune and emails it back within 1 business day of receiving your stock file.
How long does it take to receive my custom tune file?
Tuner Depot aims to deliver your custom tune file within 1 business day after you submit your stock tune file. Submissions made on weekends or holidays are processed the next business day. You must include your order number, VIN, engine code, transmission, and modifications list to avoid delays.
What information do I need to submit for a custom tune?
You need to submit six items: order number, year/make/model, engine code (e.g., 6.7L Cummins), complete 17-character VIN, transmission type, and a full list of modifications including injectors, turbo, exhaust, and intake. Missing or incomplete information is the most common reason for tune-delivery delays beyond 1 business day.
Can I return or refund a custom tune file?
No. All custom tune files, tune devices, and tune-related hardware sold by Tuner Depot are final sale. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds on tuning products under any circumstance because each tune file is calibrated specifically to your VIN and modifications. Verify your vehicle compatibility before ordering.
Vehicle Compatibility
Fitment & Compatibility
How do I know if a Tuner Depot kit fits my truck?
Every Tuner Depot product page lists year, make, model, engine code, and transmission compatibility under "Fitment." For all-in-one kits, every component must match your platform — not just the truck. If you're unsure, submit a tech ticket here with your VIN and we'll confirm fitment within one business day.
What diesel platforms does Tuner Depot support?
Tuner Depot supports Cummins 5.9L and 6.7L (1998.5–2024), Ford Powerstroke 6.0L, 6.4L, 6.7L, and 7.3L (1994–2024), GM Duramax LB7 through L5P (2001–2024), Jeep and Ram EcoDiesel 3.0L, and Mercedes Sprinter 2.7L and 3.0L OM642/OM651. Other platforms can be confirmed by tech ticket.
Out Of Stock Items
Pre-Order & Stock
How do pre-orders work at Tuner Depot?
When an item is out of stock but on order with the manufacturer, Tuner Depot offers it with a "Pre-Order" label. Pre-order purchases ship as soon as the item arrives at our warehouse, typically 2 to 8 weeks depending on the manufacturer's lead time. You're charged at the time of purchase.
What happens if part of my all-in-one kit is on pre-order?
Tuner Depot ships in-stock components of your all-in-one kit immediately and dispatches the back-ordered item separately when it arrives. For example, if your tuner and delete pipe are in stock but the EGR delete kit is on pre-order, you receive two shipments at no additional cost.
Store Policies
Returns & Warranty
What is Tuner Depot's return policy?
Tuner Depot accepts returns only on items proven to be defective due to manufacturing fault, with an approved Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued in advance. We do not accept change-of-mind returns. Custom tuning, exhausts, race pipes, turbochargers, and EGR kits are final sale and non-returnable.
How do I get an RMA number from Tuner Depot?
Email or call us at 866-401-6313 with your order number and proof of the manufacturing defect (photos, video, or diagnostic readout). Tuner Depot's support team reviews and issues an RMA number within 1–2 business days. Returns sent without a valid RMA number and our prepaid label cannot be processed or refunded.
Which Tuner Depot products are final sale?
All custom tuning (files and devices), exhaust systems, race pipes, turbochargers, and EGR delete kits are final sale at Tuner Depot. These five categories are non-returnable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable. Verify fitment and vehicle compatibility before purchasing — submit a tech ticket if you're unsure.
Does Tuner Depot honor manufacturer warranties?
Yes. Tuner Depot honors all applicable manufacturer warranties on the products we sell. Warranty terms, coverage period, and claim process vary by manufacturer and product category. See our warranty and refunds page for the full per-brand warranty matrix, or contact us with your order number to start a warranty claim.

Delivery & Tracking
Tracking & Shipping Issues
I haven't received a tracking number — what should I do?
Your tracking number arrives in an emailed invoice as soon as Tuner Depot's fulfillment team processes your order and creates the shipping label. If it has been four business days since you placed the order and no email has arrived, contact hello@tunerdepot.com — there may be a shipping snag or an email address issue.
My tracking number shows no progress — why?
Tuner Depot creates and emails your tracking number as soon as the shipping label is generated, but the package isn't scanned until it reaches the carrier's warehouse. Until then, tracking will say "check back tomorrow." The package has been picked and is in transit — scans typically begin within 1–2 business days.
My tracking says delivered but I cannot find my package — what now?
First, check with neighbors and household members, and look for safe-drop locations near your door. Then contact the carrier with your tracking number to open a delivery investigation. If unresolved within 48 hours, email hello@tunerdepot.com and we'll help file a claim. Carrier investigations typically take 5–10 business days.
I received a damaged product — what should I do?
Contact Tuner Depot immediately at hello@tunerdepot.com before installing or using the product. We'll ask for photos showing the damage and the original packaging, and we'll guide you through the carrier claim and replacement process. Reporting damage within 48 hours of delivery gives the strongest chance of full resolution.
Tuning Info
Tuning Tech Knowledge
Do I need to clear emissions-related dash messages before tuning?
Yes. Any emissions-related warning messages currently displayed on your dash must be cleared before you flash a delete tune. No tuner will clear these codes during the flash, and once the tune is installed the message stays stuck on the dash permanently. Resolve dash messages first, then tune.
What do I actually need to do a full DPF, DEF, and EGR delete?
A complete delete needs three things: a delete-capable tuner to recalibrate the PCM, a DPF delete pipe or full delete exhaust to replace the factory filters, and ideally an EGR delete kit to prevent coolant leaks and intake soot buildup. Install the emissions-off tune before physically removing any emissions hardware.
Why delete the EGR system?
EGR systems route hot exhaust back through a coolant-cooled heat exchanger that wears, cracks, and leaks coolant into the combustion chamber. On direct-injection diesels like Cummins, Powerstroke, and Duramax, EGR also builds soot on the intake valves, causing power loss and poor fuel economy. Deleting eliminates both failure modes.
