The 6.0 Powerstroke turbo Y-pipe is a one-piece pipe assembly that connects both exhaust manifolds to the single inlet of the turbocharger on Ford's 6.0L Powerstroke diesel engine (2003–2007 F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550).
Two separate pipe legs — one from each exhaust manifold — merge into a single outlet that feeds exhaust gas directly into the turbo inlet, spinning the turbine and building boost pressure. The factory up-pipe is a known failure point prone to cracking, which bleeds exhaust pressure before it reaches the turbo and results in lost boost, reduced power and rising EGTs.
