Introduction
The 6.4L Powerstroke up pipe and exhaust manifold kit replaces the factory manifolds and up-pipes on the 2008-2010 Ford F-250 and F-350 6.4L Powerstroke. OEM up-pipes are prone to cracking from repeated heat cycling, causing exhaust leaks, increased turbo spool time, soot buildup and power loss. This kit uses high-silicone ductile cast iron manifolds and T304 stainless steel up-pipes with internally shielded expansion bellows to restore exhaust integrity and improve turbine efficiency.
What Does an Up Pipe & Exhaust Manifold Kit Do?
The exhaust manifolds collect exhaust gases from the cylinder head and route them into the up-pipes, which feed the turbocharger. Cracked OEM pipes bleed exhaust pressure before it reaches the turbine, reducing spool speed and increasing EGTs. Replacing both components restores exhaust velocity, improves cylinder scavenging and allows the turbocharger to build boost more efficiently.
Compatibility
- Years: 2008, 2009, 2010
- Make: Ford
- Models: F-250 Super Duty, F-350 Super Duty
- Engine: 6.4L Powerstroke Diesel
Please Note: Manifolds do not include EGR provisions. This product is intended for off road use only.
Features
- High-silicone ductile cast iron manifolds — heavy-walled elbow connections resist burn-through and cracking
- T304 stainless steel mandrel-bent up-pipes — larger diameter than OEM for improved exhaust flow velocity
- Internally shielded stainless steel expansion bellows — accommodates thermal expansion without cracking
- Corrosion-resistant manifold coating — extends service life in high-heat environments
- Pre-drilled sensor ports — accepts EGT and/or exhaust pressure sensors
- A/C offset adapter included — prevents contact with and damage to the A/C hose during installation
- Complete gasket set included — exhaust manifold gaskets and turbocharger pipe gaskets supplied
Benefits
- Eliminates exhaust leaks caused by cracked OEM up-pipes
- Reduces turbo spool time by restoring exhaust pressure to the turbine inlet
- Improves cylinder evacuation for better volumetric efficiency
- Retains exhaust gas temperatures to maintain turbine pumping efficiency
- Reduces soot buildup associated with exhaust leaks
- Sensor ports allow EGT and back-pressure monitoring without additional fabrication

- Inspect cylinder head and turbocharger flanges for warping or damage before installing new gaskets
- Torque all manifold fasteners to factory spec in sequence to prevent gasket failure
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this fit both F-250 and F-350?
Yes. Fits all 2008-2010 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks with the 6.4L Powerstroke diesel engine.
Are gaskets included?
Yes. The kit includes exhaust manifold gaskets, turbocharger pipe gaskets and an A/C offset adapter.
Why do the manifolds not have EGR provisions?
This kit is designed for off-road use only. The manifolds are not configured for EGR integration and will not support emissions-compliant builds.
Can I install EGT or pressure sensors?
Yes. The up-pipes are pre-drilled for EGT and exhaust pressure sensors. No additional fabrication is needed.
How do I know if my OEM up-pipes have failed?
Common signs include exhaust smell in the cab, visible soot around pipe joints, increased turbo lag, higher EGTs under load and audible ticking or hissing from the engine bay under boost.
