The Duramax LM2 CAN BUS Plug for 2020-2025 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 LM2 & LZ0 diesel trucks is an essential upgrade for anyone performing delete tuning. It ensures proper communication between the ECM and modified components, preventing common issues like error codes or limp mode after removing emissions systems.
Why You Need It
This kit is designed for trucks equipped with aftermarket exhaust systems or delete pipes. When removing the DPF/DEF systems, it replaces the NOx and DEF modules. It sends a closed signal back to the ECM to ensure proper vehicle operation.
Unlike some others that only supply two NOx plugs, we supply 3 NOx plugs and a DEF tank plug. Your specific truck may use a different NOx module in the engine bay and the provided plugs will not fit. In this case, you will leave the factory module plugged in and only remove the two NOx modules located underneath the truck, leaving you with an extra NOx plug.
If your truck's engine bay NOx module uses the same plugs as the ones underneath, you can use the CAN plug in the engine bay as well.

Easy to use
I purchased the full LM2 Delete kit that had everything I needed. The process is pretty straight forward. I do wish there were instructions to verify, but for my first delete I made it through without issue. Expect two to three days of actual work once the tune is flashed. I have increased the reliability and MPG for my truck and could not be more happy. If you have the dual center exhaust, I would recommend the PPE side exit exhaust to reduce soot on the back of your truck.

The turbo spool is much quicker, and the power increase is insane! Its getting better mileage but not exactly how much better yet. The problem is with the additional power I can't keep my foot out of it, So getting true mileage reading is tricky. Driving to Montana soon and that will give me a accurate reading. Will advise. So not sure why I got two boxes one day and yesterday got a long box @930 at night. Get a call from my shop after they got 95% done and they ask me where was the egr delete kit was? I didn’t open the box but assumed everything would have been there . Nope it got shipped yesterday and sitting with DLH in concord Nc … just really not a happy camper at this point
Very easy to navigate and I had a little trouble getting the tune to take to the ecm but customer support helped me through it
The 3.0 Duramax delete itself works great on my 2020 Silverado no more DEF system headaches, and the turbo spools faster. Instructions were a little vague for wiring the EGR block-off had to call their support line but they walked me through it. Great product and tunes so far.

Tried the 3.0 Duramax delete kit for my 2021 Sierra for my 21 Sierra was sick of dealing with constant regens and limp mode. Took the weekend to throw it on and the truck woke up. No more DPF junk clogging it up, throttle feels way snappier and Im getting 3+ MPG better on the highway. I highly recommend.
