MY TRUCK TURNED OFF WHILE PROGRAMMING AND NOW IT DOES NOT START/AN ERROR KEEPS APPEARING, HOW DO I FIX THIS?
Important: If the AutoCal's programming process is interrupted due to power loss, it may result in a corrupted PCM.
How to Prevent This Issue
To avoid issues during programming, ensure that:
- The vehicle is connected to a battery charger providing at least 10 amps of continuous power.
- The ignition remains in the ON position throughout the programming process.
Steps to Fix the Issue
- Check the vehicle’s battery and connect a charger if needed.
- Attempt to reflash the vehicle using AutoCal.
- If a VIN error appears, the vehicle must be restored to its stock settings before proceeding.
