Tuning credits are required to license vehicle modules when using an OBD2 Flash Tuning Interface. Credits are only used when writing a new tune file to a vehicle.
How OBD2 credits work
- Credits act as currency to license individual vehicle modules.
- Each license allows calibration of that specific module.
- Licenses are locked to the vehicle VIN, PCM OS, and PCM serial number.
- Once licensed, you can read, edit, and store files without using additional credits.
Digital product and requirements
- Digital product only. No physical items are shipped.
- Select the correct quantity based on the number of credits needed.
- Your OBD2 Flash Tuning Interface serial number is required at checkout.
- Serial number and credit quantity must be correct.
- No refunds or returns on tuning credits.
Ordering information
- If purchased with an OBD2 Flash Tuning Interface, credits are added directly to the device.
- For standalone credit purchases, complete the Tuning Details Form or enter the interface serial number in the order notes.
- If credits are purchased without an MPVI3 device, email your MPVI serial number after purchase to avoid delays.
- Contact us before ordering if you need credits handled differently.
